We are looking for an extraordinary accounting Assistant that will perform a range of general clerical, accounting, bookkeeping and HR duties. Accounting Assistant will report to Controller. Must be proficient in Quick Books Enterprise -multi user, Accounting and Payroll. Must have excellent MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills. Must have 3 years strong HANDS ON EXPERIENCE. Responsibilities: Possess a comprehensive understanding of California Lien Law and Collections Procedures. Maintenance of the GL and assist in month-end reporting/closing process. Credit and Collections Recon of AP vender statements. Familiarity with computer technology. Assist with quarter and year-end closing. Enhance and develop accounting policies and procedures. Have HR and medical plan management experience Assist in maintaining compliance with all federal and state credit laws and regulations. Manage and pay employee garnishments, track employee vacation Be able to process payroll, tax returns, general bookkeeping functions, sales tax filings. Must have strong communication, verbal, written and organization skills. Candidate must be able to multi task, handle multiple projects at one time and have exceptional follow through skills.
