Over 15 years experience in the Bookkeeping/Accounting industry, which incorporates Payroll, Payables, Receivables, Collection, Month-End, and Financials, and 5 years experience in Human Resource/Employee Benefits.  Within these years, I have obtained additional training and hands on experience on various accounting software programs, including QuickBooks Pro Advisor.  Working in the construction, retail, non-profit and public accounting industries have allowed me growth in my profession.  During my last 10 years of employment, I have also acquired supervisory and management skills to include human resources, small business start-up, and safety.  Though your position may not have a direct need for supervisory skills; I believe that the obtained skills allow for better performance at the staff level due to my understanding that teamwork is essential to a functional and successful accounting department.
