Job Summary: The Tax Accountant will not only be held to the real estate space but may also be needed with clients across other industries. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable with assisting their clients with basic accounting functions such as reconciliations and General Ledger entries. Responsibilities Maintaining a trusting client relationship with all clients by providing tax preparation services and advice to ensure compliance with policies and professional standards Managing existing and new clients Working with clients’ internal accounting departments to ensure accurate data is reported for tax purposes Working with clients who may lack an internal accounting department to ensure accounting best practices are being followed Continual learning of the latest accounting, tax, and client-industry specific developments Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems Managing the billing process for each client Promoting new ideas and business solutions resulting in expanded services to existing clients Required Skills 5-6 years’ experience in tax accounting within a public accounting firm CPA certification is required Advanced degree is a plus but not required Real estate tax experience is strongly preferred Additional Details Hours: Flexible schedule and as-need remote work allowances Employment Type: Direct hire, salary includes a competitive base plus bonus, additional commission paid for any new client generation Health / dental benefits, 401k, over 2 weeks of PTO the first year, profit sharing Opportunities for professional growth Integrity Staffing Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
