Process Payroll semi-monthly payroll for US and Canadian employees and post related payroll entries and prepare associated account reconciliations. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Review and verify all changes imported into ADP from Workday is accurate and complete Ensure timesheets are processed and approved by employees and managers timely and follow up as necessary Check the payroll mailbox daily and respond to inquiries/requests in a timely manner (within 48 hours) Research and resolve all payroll related issues, timely and accurately Register new state tax jurisdictions, ensure that they are set-up and compliant Prepare and post semi-monthly payroll journal entries Prepare monthly account reconciliations for payroll-related accounts Prepare Annual Workers’ Compensation Audit Material (Preliminary and Final) Assist with auditor requests related to payroll Ensure payroll records are maintained and organized Calculate and reconcile all Retros Review ADP Data Bridge for errors, daily Transmittal of information for Foreign payrolls Minimum Requirements High school diploma required Full Cycle Processing of Payroll for at least 800 employees Minimum of 2 years processing payroll Knowledge of how to create journal entries Experience performing account reconciliation Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) ADP experience (Workforce Now and EZ Labor) Experience with SAP Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred Some college Experience with Workday APA certification is a plus Job Description Typical Job Responsibilities: Processing the payroll of employees for each pay period (weekly/biweekly/monthly) Entering of new hires, employee changes and voluntary deductions in the payroll system and making sure changes are accurate Processing of manual checks such as terminations and discrepancies Prepare and process for both salaried employees and hourly Reviews computed wages and corrects errors to ensure accuracy Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files, including a manual check log and reconciliation of payroll account Calculate bonuses as requested Ensure all deductions are done correctly Manage the 401(k) plan by ensuring accurate and timely contributions are made to the administrator Prepare various payroll and management reports, journal entries, workers compensation and reconcile quarterly payroll taxes Knowledge of single-state payroll and multi-state (typically multi-state is preferred)
