Need tax accountant familiar w/ IRS relocation reimbursement rules

I recently relocated and was reimbursed for moving expenses. I provided receipts and received a check. Now my employer has added my relocation expenses to my pay over the next 11 pay periods, reducing my net pay by about $600/month, the amount of the reimbursement. It doesn't make sense to me, to offer relocation assistance, issue a check and then make me pay for it. At least, that's how it looks to me. I'd like someone knowledgeable about IRS tax law and relocation expenses to review my pay stubs (before and after) to determine: - if other options were available, - are the calculations correct.
