Direct reports: 6 RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a great opportunity for a Manager to join a small firm, deal directly with clients and work on US tax cases. We are looking for someone with personal and corporate experience who can work closely with the US Partner to meet growing client demands. This client represents a variety of industries. Reviewing prepared tax returns. 80% personal and 20% corporate taxes with the future growing into more partnership and corporate tax work. Mentoring and supervising staff. Reviewing Expatriate US & Canadian personal tax returns and non-resident forms Occasional preparation of tax returns if required to meet deadlines Developing and maintaining client relationships through regular contact Participating in beginning stages of tax planning; tax impact on individual REQUIREMENTS: 7 years of public accounting experience with Canadian & US corporate and personal tax Excellent knowledge of expatriate tax situations CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, completed or in progress or experience in lieu of designation Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal and computer skills Looking for a team player with a positive attitude who takes initiative Experience with Form 1116 Foreign tax credits, Forms 3520, 54... and 8621 (PFIC) required
