About Rosov Consulting Rosov Consulting has an opening for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant to ensure daily operations related to accounting and finance run smoothly. The Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant will report to the firm’s Principal and will have guidance from an external CFO consultant. Founded in 2008, Rosov Consulting is a professional services firm helping foundations, philanthropists, and Jewish communal organizations and educational institutions to meet their goals, assess progress, and enhance impact. Responsibilities With guidance from an external CFO consultant, manage, oversee, and execute all accounting and finance activities: • Management of accounts receivable, including creating manual client invoices based on monthly billable hours, attainment of project milestones, and billable project expenses • Management of accounts payable, utilizing Bill..... for online bill payment • Monthly close, bank and credit card reconciliation, utilizing QuickBooks Online, Expensify, and Bill..... • Management and processing of bi-weekly payroll • Management of weekly cash-flow projections • Preparation and presentation of financial reports as designated by Principal and external CFO consultant • Support implementation of project accounting to enable project profitability tracking • Work closely with outside CPA to prepare tax filings • Identify/implement opportunities to improve controls and streamline accounting processes • Other duties as assigned Required Education, Experience, and Skills • Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field • 5 years of experience in an independently functioning Full Charge Bookkeeper role • Experience with QuickBooks Online required. Previous experience with Expensify and Bill..... (or similar online expense and A/P management systems) strongly preferred • Strong computer skills and the capacity to quickly learn and master new software. Advanced-level Excel skills and familiarity with GoogleApps for Work required • Experience in a professional services environment, including project accounting -- specifically time tracking and project costing is highly desirable Required Personal Attributes • Must be a self-starter with superb attention to detail • Strong people skills, including an ability to partner and work collaboratively with a dynamic leadership team • Solid written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with VIP clients • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, confidentiality • Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within a fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions • Capacity to juggle competing priorities and deadlines; organized and efficient Physical Requirements • Ability to communicate via phone and email • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds Additional Information This is a full-time position based in our downtown Berkeley office during regular business hours.
