Business location: 177 King Street, Midland, ON, L4R 3L8 Location of work: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time – Seasonal – 180-day contract Estimated Start Date: Early June, 2023 Job Description: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities Develop, implement and analyze budgets Participate in marketing plans and implementation Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance Address customers' complaints or concerns Provide customer service Recruit, train and supervise staff Cost products and services Organize and maintain inventory Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Conduct performance reviews Requirements: - Education: Completion of high school is required. - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required.
