Accountant Job in Saginaw, Michigan
A progressive and growing Saginaw County, Michigan municipality is seeking an accounting supervisor. Duties include budget creation/monitoring/compliance, recording journals, ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing and filing required county/state/federal reporting documents, interpreting financial data, and managing accounting and office staff. At least 3 years of proven governmental accounting experience, a minimum of a bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, and excellent computer skills, including Excel and Word, are required. Prior working experience with governmental accounting software, including BS & A, is a definite plus.
