Accountant Job in Milpitas, California

1. Responsible for handling independently entire Accounting functions of the concern 2. Monitoring the maintenance of statutory books of accounts 3. Co-ordination with statutory Auditors, tax consultants, etc. 4. Complete knowledge of Income Tax, Vat, Service tax, TDS, etc. 5. Ability to co-ordinate scrutiny cases along with the relevant consultant. 6. Management reporting 7. Responsible for book keeping and smooth functioning of finance function. 8. Preparation of MIS and maintenance and keeping the accounting records 9. Set up internal control and processes and Responsible for implementing standard operating practice (SOP) for various processes. 10. Conducting stock audits at regular intervals 11. Banking operation and co-ordination 12. Ensuring timely payment to vendors 13. Conducting internal audits 14. Mail/Letter correspondences 15. Other accounting functions
