Accountant (FT Perm) Company Background ReneSola (NYSE:SOL) is an international Photovoltaic (PV Solar) and LED lighting products manufacturer founded in 2005, with headquarters located in Shanghai, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2008. Manufacturing and distributing solar PV modules is ReneSola’s core business. ReneSola achieved global sales of USD $1.5 billion dollars and employed 5600 employees by 2014. The company currently has offices in 18 countries with 44 offices which offer local sales, warehousing, technical, and logistics services. In December of 2014, ReneSola entered into the Canadian market establishing a local business unit. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant’s responsibilities are the following: • Set up the purchasing and payment procedures for internal use. • Deposit and process payment from customers and Prepare daily bank reconciliations and financial transactions • Apply credit and track credit usage for customers and contact insurance company for assessments and claims. • Review and approve sales invoices and outstanding states for inside sales team and customers. • Review and approve the purchase invoices with internal companies. • Routine reports on sales and production, such as daily bank transactions reports, weekly sales reports, weekly actual cash flows, monthly AR report, monthly actual cash flows, monthly actual expense report. Monthly closing package, monthly GST net file, and quarterly sales commission report. • Conduct forecast reports, such as monthly budget forecast reports, monthly budgeted cash flows. • Deliver analysis reports, such as monthly sales comparison, GM comparison, expense comparison analysis, breakeven analysis reports. • Review and approve the internal transactions and employee travel reimbursements. Qualifications: • Post Secondary Degree in Finance / Accounting • 2-3 years accounting experience • Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility • Strong MS Office skills, Advanced Excel Skills are preferred (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups) • Effective time management skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Enhanced verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills • Effective problem solving skills • Ability to work independently and in a team oriented start-up company environment • Strategic planning ability and strong organizational skills; • Ability to speak Mandarin (Chinese) is Preferred.
