I have more than 20 years accounting experience with about 10 of those years being in the automotive manufacturing industry. My strengths are reconciliations and accruals but I have been fortunate enough to assist with the start-up of two local manufacturers which provided me with additional manufacturing knowledge from shipping to financial statements. If it exists within the manufacturing environment, I have probably done it. I am also experienced with human resources and payroll and comply with all GAAP and FASB requirements. Although I do not prepare taxes, I am only 30 credit hours away from obtaining my BS in Accounting at WKU where I currently have an overall GPA of 3.92. I am well versed in most accounting software and have utilized QuickBooks (on an advanced level), Peachtree (intermediate user), Oracle (intermediate user), MAS 500 (intermediate user), and am and advanced user of Excel. I have trained several companies on QuickBooks and assisted them with the implementation and integration of the software within their company. I am confident that my experience and knowledge will be of great value to any corporation in the Bowling Green, Kentucky area.
