I am retiring on 5/31/201.... My wife and I are moving to Charleston in late June. I want to stay active professionally but not to the same degree that I am in my current FT role. I would like to use my knowledge and experience to join a team and help make a significant contribution to the growth and success of the Company. As I indicated, one of my major objectives is to stay professionally active and I recognize that most part time jobs are with smaller companies or start-ups. I am willing to consider all opportunities and will be very flexible on compensation. The type of commitment that I am looking for is ideally 1-2 days, potentially 3 days, a week (after all, what’s the point of retiring if you can’t be on the golf course?). Negotiated and closed below market leases for new office and warehouse locations. 4. Completed the Company Employee Handbook. 5. Reviewed and corrected the Company's financial reporting to be in compliance with GAAP. National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Financial Consultant July 2002 to April 2003 Chief Financial Officer April 2003 to November 2007 Initially hired as a consultant to assist in accounting department process review and restructuring and assumed the position of CFO in April 2003. Completed this objective and the conversion to the new Deltek management information system to help insure compliance with all financial and Governmental reporting requirements. Completed the restructuring of the accounting department, including process improvements that resulted in the reduction of staff from 14 to 11. This resulted in departmental cost savings of 12% at the same time the Foundation grew from a $135 million foundation to a foundation in excess of $200 million. The Foundation became a "low-risk" auditee and received unqualified opinions for its financial and A-133 audits. . Successfully negotiated and closed a $5 million line of credit on favorable terms to fund the seasonality of the Foundation's operating cycle. Peter L.
