I am a CPA with over 15 years experience in accounting and finance. The services I offer are bookkeeping, individual and corporate tax preparation, payroll services, as well as serving any variety of accounting needs you may have. My education is both an associated and bachelors degree in accounting and taxation from Keystone College in La Plume, Pennsylvania and a masters degree in accounting (MAcc) from the State University of New York, Institute of Technology (now known as Polytechnic Institute). I am a certified public accountant (CPA) licensed in Pennsylvania, but due to reciprocity agreements, can practice in most other states, as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). I have experience in manufacturing, retail, transportation, auto dealerships, public utility companies, governments, and not-for-profits. I spent over 1 year in the accounting and finance department of a wheel chair and lift chair manufacturer, followed by 3 years as the controller of an auto dealership. After my time with the auto dealership, I spent almost 6 years in public accounting working on and being in charge of any and all types of engagements that range from individual and corporate tax returns to audits and or reviews/compilations of school districts, local governments and counties, large manufactures, construction companies, public utility companies, retail entities, fuel suppliers, transportation companies, and many other industries. After leaving the local firm I was with, I was employed as the cash manager for a large third party logistics company (warehousing and transportation). Finally, after a year with the third party logistics company, I became the corporate controller for a family owned conglomerate which includes a transportation and services company, a construction company, a manufacturer, a public utility company, a hotel/restaurant/golf resort, a vehicle leasing company, and various holding companies, which I have been at for over 4 years. After leaving the public accounting and returning the industry, I began my own public accounting practice as a second job. This has been growing steadily over the last 5 years, and I am now accepting more clients and have the intents to grow beyond a sole practitioner to a full functioning firm.
