i am currently in the OVDP (offshore voluntary disclosure program) i have at least one PFIC among my offshore accounts. i need to file amended tax returns for the last 8 years as part of the OVDP. my current cpa is not familiar with how to file PFIC's. i want to elect the MTM method to determine taxes due on these accounts. thanks and regards, Thilo
